Immersive Art Museums & Galleries In Philly
Otherworld
Head north past Pennypack Park, where you’ll find this huge immersive art installation. Otherworld Philadelphia spans 40,000 square feet and features 55 rooms, as well as hidden spaces like a secret gaming nook. With works from over 100 artists making up the futuristic collection, themes riff on sci-fi, fantasy, and mixed-media storytelling.
Imagine hidden passageways, glowing LED-lit chambers, alien landscapes, and interactive puzzles. Younger children might be a little freaked out by the giant aliens, but my little one loved running through the sensory rooms. As for late night fun, there are live DJs in the evening.
